Also good news that Mark Nepo’s Book of Awakening continues moving up lists such as USA Today Bestsellers from ABC News, where it is Number 23, and Publishers Weekly Bestsellers in Trade Paperbacks from San Francisco Gate, where Nepo is Number one!
(Puzzling: Both articles are from Associated Press; both are dated 02 Dec 2010; Google News reports them both to be 22 hours old. Chalk that up to different methods of calculating sales. More puzzling: the San Francisco Gate piece, titled “Publishers Weekly Bestsellers,” placed The Book of Awakening at Number One, while Nepo’s work is nowhere to be seen on Publishers Weekly top twenty five listings for that category at this moment — a mere 22 hours later. Strange indeed.)
Nonetheless, it’s good to see Google News cleaning up its sources. Although… note the third of eight organic results for a Google News search for Mark Nepo’s Book of Awakening (the last in this image, which is led by two sponsored links, in pink, and an Amazon entry):
